LEALE: Meaning “honest and trustworthy” in Italian, the Leale suite comes with its own private courtyard. Tranquillity and reflection dance through the soft trickles of its fountain and a lavish bedroom is complimented by the Italian white marble and dusky Moroccan Tadelakt of the bathroom.
PARTENOPE: Partenope is the ancient Greek name for Naples, birthplace of the Italian owner and the bedroom is sprinkled with Neapolitan art and furniture throughout. It is a Mediterranean marriage of Italy to Morocco while the spacious bathroom is cast in emerald South American marble and ebony Moroccan tadelakt.
NEFELIBATA: Nefelibata literally means “cloud-walker”, one who defies the conventions of society, literature and art to weave an ethereal life through their own imagination. African hints dominate the bedroom and the two walk-in dressing rooms, while the ensuite bathroom is a fusion of Emperor marble and gleaming chrome fixtures.
GEMEAUX: Meaning Gemini or the ‘twins’, this opulent suite overlooks the central courtyard. Its twin windows are wonderfully luminous and deep red accents swirl softly throughout, culminating in the sumptuous red marble bathroom which also boasts a discreet but invigorating skylight.
HIMA: Hima translates as the secret places where birds repose during a long migration – free from predators and free from danger. The ceiling is frescoed in classical Moroccan style and birdsong flows softly in from the courtyard while the bathroom is polished in granite and tobacco tadelakt.
ORANGE: Born from the warm glow of the medina, this suite began with two pierced lanterns found in the souk. Their light now flickers in sumptuous shades of spice and sunset, bathing the interiors in warm, romantic tones. The suite comes with its own balcony overlooking the courtyard.
BLACKSTAR: A study in monochrome, this stylish, elegant suite opens onto the courtyard. The minimalist white marble and black tadelakt bathroom re-imagines classic art deco, while the lighting draws on timeless Moroccan style and Italian modernism
SUITE RIVER GAUCHE: Our largest suite is a tribute to Yves Saint Laurent and the city that shaped him. Anchored in iconic Majorelle blue and framed by cactus silhouettes, the space is a fusion of the oasis and the atelier. The suite has a King size bed or 2 separate beds and a salon area with 2 sofa beds, sleeping 4 overall.
MOSAIQUE: Inspired by the colours of the Ourika Valley, this suite draws on earthen reds, lush vegetation and shades of endless sunshine. The bathroom in green marble and clay tadelakt features a hand crafted Moroccan lantern and Italian lighting fixtures.
ASRAR: Asrar is Arabic for “secrets’. A suite wreathed in quiet luxury, where gold catches the light and whispers linger in the corners. The balcony overlooks the courtyard and the bathroom is fully fitted in Emperor marble.
